Rashidah Taylor is a professional model, life coach, motivational speaker, personal trainer, and author.  She is a graduate of the University of Florida with a B.S. in Exercise and Sport Sciences.  Rashidah is a Minister through New Life Christian Fellowship International.  She has recently released her autobiography entitled My Love Walk Over the Dead Roses.

            Rashidah has had great success in pageantry.  On March 1, 2009, she was crowned Ms. Florida Galaxy International.  Her other titles include Mrs. Maryland United States 2004, 2^nd runner-up at Mrs. Maryland America 2005, 1^st runner -up at Mrs. Florida America, and Ms. Florida United States 2008, however, she gave up her title to commit more time and attention to her daughters. 

Rashidah's platform focuses on "Empowering Women of Destiny."  She uses her platform to build esteem and self worth in the women that she influences.  She has a passion to see women excel in society.  Rashidah has made a strong commitment to make a lasting effect on everyone that she comes in contact with.  She volunteers her time to support the less fortunate.  Beginning with her 3 beautiful daughters, Rashidah strives to be a strong role model and raise the standards for children in our community.  Her goal is to share knowledge and restore vision with the hopes of extending life to all who are willing to listen.

            Despite the many trials that Rashidah has had to overcome, she has found a way to stay grounded in the foundation of love, honor, and respect that was instilled in her as a child. It is a well known fact, that when anyone takes a stand for righteousness, there will surely be opposition.  Rashidah is the epitome of a strong woman who loves the Lord with all her heart and who will stop at nothing less than to fulfill the call of God on her life.
